Many Brand Partners in our community were with us right from the beginning when we launched LifeWave with Energy Enhancer™ as our main product. LifeWave Technology was founded with the simple idea of taking a new life technology, originally developed for the Navy, to the public. With the creation of our network marketing company in November 2004, working together we really have achieved some absolutely remarkable accomplishments over these 20+ years, and I could not have asked for a better group of people than our Brand Partners to share our success with.

In the late 2000s, I made the decision to start investing our resources into research. After 10 years of investigation, $4.3 million USD in investment capital, and over 80 patents globally, our company was forever transformed for the better. We have touched and enriched the lives of many, and they have taken LifeWave on a path to becoming one of the largest network marketing companies in the world.

In these past two decades, LifeWave has expanded across North America, Europe, and in countries across Asia and the Pacific. This phenomenal growth in such a short period of time would not be possible without the power of network marketing. To all our Brand Partners that have started locally and branched out globally, you have our appreciation and gratitude for an incredible job well done!

Meeting David Schmidt

David Schmidt is the founder and inventor behind LifeWave technology. His interest in developing non-drug approaches to human performance and wellness began with research into ways of helping people function under demanding conditions. LifeWave's own history describes David's involvement in research for U.S. Navy applications, including technology intended to help mini-submarine crews stay awake without drugs or stimulants. That early work eventually led to the development of LifeWave's first patch technology. David's interests developed far beyond energy and performance. A major focus of his work became the relationship between aging, cellular function, stem cells and mitochondria — and an important question: Can we do more than simply add years to life? Can we help people remain healthier and more youthful for longer? This is the distinction between lifespan and healthspan. Lifespan is how long we live. Healthspan is how long we remain healthy and able to enjoy life. David has described his long-term interest as understanding why the body's natural ability to repair and regenerate changes with age, and exploring technologies that may support healthier aging. LifeWave describes its technology as using light-based principles rather than delivering drugs or chemicals through the skin. The company's current materials describe the patches as reflecting energy/light back toward the body, while describing David as the inventor of the technology. Whatever the future holds for this field, the underlying question is a compelling one: Rather than simply asking how to live longer, what if we put more attention on how to live well for longer? That idea sits at the heart of David Schmidt's vision for LifeWave.
